Star Wars Issue #3 takes readers on a thrilling journey as the Millennium Falcon, piloted by Han Solo and Chewbacca, is captured by the Death Star.
The comic begins with the devastating destruction of Alderaan by Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin. Princess Leia Organa, held captive by the Empire, witnesses the planet's annihilation in despair. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, and C-3PO are en route to Alderaan aboard the Millennium Falcon. As they approach the remnants of the destroyed planet, they are soon apprehended by the Death Star.
Inside the Death Star, they discover Leia's presence and embark on a daring mission to rescue her from her captors. In this issue, there are also nods to George Lucas's first film, THX 1138, with references to "TX-421" and "Block TX-138".
